1909Starts designing hats and meets Arthur "Boy" Capel.
1910Opens her first hat shop in Paris with Capel’s support.
1919Capel dies in a car crash. Heartbroken, she throws herself into work.
1921Creates Chanel No.5, a revolutionary perfume.
1923Begins a relationship with the Duke of Westminster, embracing British influences.
1926Introduces the Little Black Dress, redefining elegance.
1930Ends her relationship with the Duke of Westminster, choosing independence over marriage.
